KENTWOOD, LA (PRWEB) April 16, 2007 - Kentwood Springs, a DS Waters bottled water brand, was pleased to provide its water delivery service as the water supplier of the April 8, 2007, episode of the ABC television show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The bottled water company provided 120 five-gallon bottles of water as well as hot cocoa and coffee for use by the crew and volunteers on the shoot, which took place in Brandon, Mississippi, and is serviced by the Jackson, Mississippi, branch of Kentwood Springs.
But Kentwood Springs’ involvement went beyond a straightforward donation of its water delivery service and its products. Local Route Operations Manager Chris Derouen not only visited the set multiple times to ensure that the water delivery had been made, but he, his wife, and several of his associates also remained to help out with the building of the house itself. From hauling bricks to cleaning up debris, Chris and his associates literally got their hands dirty throughout the seven-day shoot.
“Not only was I glad to be able to get the word out about Kentwood Springs and our quality bottled water, but I also was thrilled to be able to volunteer on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and to make a difference,” said Derouen. “I had never before volunteered at this magnitude, and I found a great sense of enjoyment and pride in my involvement and in being able to help a deserving family get a beautiful new home.”
